With
Dance Interactive Media products you can easily learn to dance some
of the most popular styles of dancing.
There are several important considerations before you choose what
form of media you wish to order.
PC CD-ROM Requirements:
Minimum
System Requirements
Intel/AMD 266 mhz CPU or faster
64 mb RAM or larger
24x CD-ROM drive or faster
Video display 16 bit colour - 800x600
Soundcard and Speakers
Windows 98 or later
Direct X 8 or later
We consider these specifications to be the minimum to be able to
view the CD-ROMS.
If you are unsure of the specifications of your PC, then typically,
a PC purchased within the last 5 years should
be adequate.
The most important consideration is the version DIRECTX
you have installed on your PC.
DIRECTX is an important part of Windows
that controls sound and video replay, amongst other things.
We recommend at least version 8 or later. DirectX
is available from the Internet and more conveniently
most PC magazine cover disks from your newsagent, will normally
have this included as a free file.
Windows XP has the correct version installed by default.
Your display / monitor and video card MUST be capable of
displaying at a minimum of 800x600 dpi resolution.
If you are unsure of this setting, contact your local Computer retailer
for advice.
Windows
XP has this setting by default.

TV / VIDEO Requirements:
The VHS videocassettes and DVD are formatted in PAL, the TV/video
standard for Australia, U.K, most of Europe.... Countries such as
the US, Japan etc.... use the NTSC standard, which is NOT compatible.
If unsure of these formats, contact your local video retailer.
If you wish to order any video material from us and are unsure of
your country's TV standard, please email
us at mcr at dancemedia.com.au replacing the word at with the usual @ symbol
(Please state in the email the country where you live) or visit
this website
which has a comprehensive listing.
PC CD-ROMS are unaffected by
these different International video formats.
NOTE: Some recent set top domestic Video Players and DVD
Players are capable of playing both PAL
and/or NTSC media, we have not tried this feature and so therefore
cannot guarantee compatibility.
Every effort
is made to ensure that the DVDs are compliant with the Official
DVD standard, but,
not all manufacturers of DVD players seem to follow this standard.
If you are unable to play the DVDs
correctly in your DVD player.....Dance Interactive Media will gladly
replace the DVD with the equivalent
VHS Videocassette plus refund the difference if you notify us within
30 days of purchasing the DVD.
